Halloween Nails (times two) featuring Kleancolor, Nails Inc and a-england

Happy Halloween everyone!!

I couldn't decide on just one Halloween mani so decided I would do a post with two ideas I had.......

Kleancolor Metallic Orange with Nails Inc Camden Crackle

The first one me and my friend Fi came up with while trying to plan her nails,  we wanted an orange base with black crackle, simple but striking and very halloweeny.

I decided a shiny or shimmery orange base was more what I was looking for than a creme orange, and since I hadn't used Kleancolors Metallic Orange yet that was the best choice, and I will show you it without the crackle first.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and no top coat.

Then I added one coat of Nails Inc (black) Camden crackle and 1 coat of the Shield.

And here is my second idea...

Nails Inc Floral Street and a-england Camelot with Spiders

Anyone who knows me, knows I hate spiders, even these little stickers on my fingers creeped me out a bit.

But as it is Halloween I soldiered through, again I wanted to keep things simple, so monochrome seemed the way to go.

The sheet of stickers I wanted to use had mainly black spiders and a few white so I done 4 nails with Nails Inc Floral Street and 1 nail with a-england Camelot and put the opposite coloured spiders on each nail.

I will not show you Floral Street or Camelot alone as I have already done this here and here.  So this is 1 coat of the Knight then 2 coats of each polish with the stickers placed on top and then 1 coat of the Shield to seal it all.

I hoped you liked my halloween nails and please feel free to leave me a comment <3

Miners Autumn Winter Collection

Today I have for you the Autumn Winter collection from Miners Cosmetics.

There are 5 pieces in this collection, 4 'City Inspired' shades - Bangkok Blues, London's Calling, Fairytale of New York and Weekend in Paris - which are new for this collection and another polish which is Milers 'winter favourite' Plum. I loved the look of this collection when I got it, the polishes all have very jewel like tones to them.

The blue (Bangkok) and the green (New York) appealed to me most.  The neutral colour (London) and the two pink/red colours (Paris and Plum) are lovely colours but not ones that would jump out at me normally.

Application was great for all 5 of these, the polish went on smooth were opaque in 2 coats.  All pictures are with 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Firstly I will show you Bangkok Blues, which is a lovely navy colour, which of course meant it was the first one I tried.

Next we have London's Calling, which is a mushroom colour.

Then we have Fairytale of New York, a forest green colour.

Now we have Weekend is Paris, which is a pinkish red colour.

And lastly we have Plum, which is actually more of a deep pink on the nail.

All in all, I am very happy with this collection, the standout shades are the blue and green for sure, and I actually really liked the mushroom on me, although I wouldn't normally go for this type of shade.  The other 2 are lovely colours and suit this collection well, but as I have ones similar to these already in my stash it probably means these will get used less.

Miners polishes can be bought from their website  and costs £2.99 for 9mls.

a-england Morgan Le Fay

This is it...... it is like the end of an era, my last post about a Mythical, well on its own anyway, but, don't despair, you will surely see the Mythicals on here again in some form or another.......

So, without further ado, here is Morgan Le Fay, a delicate shimmering white polish, it can be worn over any other colour to produce stunning effect but is also beautiful on its own.  The main colour of this polish is the white but in certain lights there is a pink or blue flash due to the micro shimmer running through it.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 3 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Thanks for looking and please feel free to leave me a comment <3  xxx

Andrea Fulerton Annie

This is the last Andrea Fulerton polish I have to show you from the Metallic Magic Autumn Winter collection, well for now anyway.

This polish is called Annie and is a pure icy silver polish with silver micro glitter through it.  It also had great coverage with 2 coats and application was easy and smooth.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Continuing the theme of this collection I wanted to try some nail art, and this idea seemed simple and made use of the 'dot' part of the 'dot and flick' tool in the shade Judy. The dot part of this tool was very easy to use and allowed the spots to remain about the same size each time as the polish flowed quite well through the tool.

I hope you have had a much fun looking at my art with this collection as I had trying them out for you.  Again the polish is £4.99 and the 'dot and flick' tool is £3.99

Thanks for looking <3

Andrea Fulerton Cat

Today I have for you another polish from the Andrea Fullerton Metallic Magic Autumn Winter collection, Cat.

Cat is another icy shimmer colour but in gold with micro glitter in silver and possibly lighter gold too, but this may just be how the light catches it.

Again coverage was good and application was easy, I was able to get full coverage with this polish in two coats, and these were just usual coats, not any thicker than I usually do.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Now I felt I wanted to try some art with this mani too, but wanted to try something simple but also pretty, and I was really happy with how it turned out.

I used another of the strips from the Nail Tattoo 'Chains' sheet.  I really like this different designs on this sheet and am sure I will be using them for a few different occasions.

Here is the above mani with some Chains and another coat of the Shield.

I managed to get a close up for you to show the chain detail as even though it isn't raised up that much from the actual nail but has a great 3D effect to it.

Again the polish can be bought from Amazon or Superdrug for £4.99 and the Nail Tattoos for £1.99.

I hope you enjoyed looking at this as much as I enjoyed wearing it.

Andrea Fulerton Kylie

Today I have for you Kylie from the Andrea Fulerton Metallic Magic Autumn Winter collection.  I have 3 polishes from this collection to show you but have planned a separate post for each.

Kylie is an icy silver shimmer with hints of lilac, it also has micro glitter running through it in pink and silver.

Application of this polish was smooth and easy and coverage was opaque in 3 coats, if I had done a slightly thicker second coat I could have probably stopped there, but as I normally do quite thinish coats, there was slight nail line still visible after the second but this was eliminated with the third coat.  This polish, even with the glitter through it, was smooth without top coat.

So here is 1 coat of the Knight, 3 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

When I got these polishes, I also got an Andrea Fulerton Nail Art 'Dot and Flick' dual tool in Judy (black) and some Andrea Fulerton Nail Tattoos, and the one I will show you is called 'Chains'.

Now, I am not very good with the nail art, I normally stick to basic polish or layering, sometime a tape mani but freehand is not my strong point, but I thought I would give it a try.

Saying that, I found the 'Dot and Flick' Pen very easy to use, it has two parts, a pull off lid with the dotter and a screw lid with the striper tool.  I was able to use the striper with ease and found it distributed the polish evenly and in straight lines without needing too much coaxing.

The Nail Tattoos were also very easy to apply, they are self adhesive so do not require glue, I just lifted the strip from the sheet with tweezers and placed on the nail and then used a pair of nail scissors to trim the excess.

Here is the above mani with the 'Flick' part of the tool to do the lines and one of the 'Chain' tattoos inbetween the two lines.  I also added another coat of the Shield to this to seal the design.

Andrea Fulerton polishes and art tools can be bought from Superdrug or Amazon.  The polish is 5.5ml and costs £4.99, the Dot and Flick tool is 6ml and costs £3.99 and the sheet of Nail tattoos costs £1.99.

I hope you like this and thank you for looking <3

Nubar Pasadena Purple with Nails Inc Bloomsbury Square

I have for you today yesterdays mani post with a bit of extra sparkle.  Bloomsbury Square is part of the Nails Inc 3D Glitter collection.  It is a clear base with small purple glitter and larger pinky red glitter.

I have only used my Bloomsbury Square once before so I thought Pasadena Purple would be a great base to wear it over.

Here is yesterday mani with 1 coat of Bloomsbury Square and 1 coat of the Shield which gave a smooth finish.

Thanks for looking xxx

Nubar Pasadena Purple

I have for you today Nubar Pasadena Purple, when I bought this one, it was described on the website as a 'rich metallic purple', I would describe this more as a pearly looking finish, not a standard metallic.

I really liked wearing this polish, such a pretty shade of purple and I don't really think I have another like this in my collection.  I still have a few Nubars to show you all but so far I have been very happy with the ones I have got.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Thanks for looking as and always, feel free to leave me a comment <3 xx
