Kiko 399

I have for you today another of the Kiko holographic polishes, 399 and this one is described on the website as Silk Taupe.

Like the other Kiko holo I showed you before, application was easy and top coat did not dull the holo.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 3 of 399 and 1 of the Shield.

Crowstoes Triple Black Diamond over Picture Polish White Wedding

I have for you all today a layering that I loved, Crowstoes Triple Black Diamond over yesterdays mani of Picture Polish White Wedding.

I had been eying Triple Black Diamond for a while so was so happy when I finally got my hands on it.  I was a little unsure what to layer it over so that the that black, purple blue and green glitter all showed up, and it is also quite a dense glitter so doesn't necessarily need to be layered, but I decided it would look great over White Wedding.

Here is yesterday mani with 1 coat of Triple Black Diamond, 1 of Glitter Food and 1 of the Shield.

Picture Polish White Wedding by Llarowe

I have for you all today my very first Picture Polish, and of course it is White Wedding for Llarowe.

You all know I adore Leah Ann so when I learned she collaborated with Picture Polish to make this colour inspired by the Billy Idol song I knew I needed it.  This is an amazing white polish with a iridescent shimmer running through it.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 3 of White Wedding and 1 of the Shield.

Lush Lacquer Color Me Grey over Kiko 400

I have for you another layering today and this one also uses another brand that is new to me, Lush Lacquer.  I had been eyeing these polishes for a while, and finally picked up a set of 8 minis on Etsy but there are still so many more I would like to get.

But in the meantime here is Color Me Grey which is a grey base with multicoloured matte glitters through it.  You see this kind of polish a lot in a white base, which I love too, but don't recall seeing a grey based one before, and I am I so glad I picked this one up.

As the base is grey, I knew layering it over a similar colour would be best as I only have a mini and didn't want to use it all up soon, so I decided to layer it over the Kiko 400 holographic polish I showed you yesterday.

Here is yesterdays mani with 1 coat of Color Me Grey and 1 of the Shield.

Kikos can be purchased from the site or a store if you have one near you.  Just now you can only buy Lush Lacquers from Etsy but they will soon be available on Llarowe and Harlow & Co.

Thanks for looking <3 xx

Kiko 400

I have for you today my first Kiko polish, I picked this up when I was in London a couple of weeks ago with two lovely ladies, Esther of Fab Fingertips and Lex of Talonted.  I managed to get all 4 of the holos (and a few others) but this was the first I have decided to show you today.

400 is a Grey holographic polish, I was very impressed with the application of this polishes.  Coverage was opaque in 2 coats and top coat did not dull the holo.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of 400 and one of the Shield.

*edit* I can't believe I forgot to put on purchase information, thank you to Sue for commenting to remind me, Kiko polishes can be purchased from the stores, I was at the one in London Westfield Centre.  If you go to their website here, you can check if there is a store near you, or I think you can also order online.

Crowstoes Morticia over a-england Avalon

I have for you all today the first of a brand I have been dying to own for a while, I was so glad when Leah Ann of Llarowe started selling these beauties as before they were not available in the UK as far as I am aware.

The main polishes I wanted from this brand were the ones inspired by Alice in Wonderland, which I will hopefully soon have all of them, but the one I have chosen for you today is inspired by Morticia from the Addams Family.

I loved this one just for the name alone but then when I seen her in real life, wow!  I didn't want to layer her over just black or red as didn't want any of the glitters to get lost, so I decided on purple, so that the red, silver/grey and black glitters in Morticia all showed up.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of a-england Avalon, 1 of Morticia, 1 of Glitter Food and 1 of the Shield.

Crowstoes Polishes can be purchased from Llarowe, and the Halloween Collection is there just now too.

Dollish Polish Toad-ally Awesome over Contrary Polish Purple Smoke

I have for you today the continuation of a collection I have been dying to complete, the Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros Collection.  Toad-ally Awesome is made up of matte white, gold, blue and red glitter in various shapes and sizes.

When was wearing the Contrary Polishes I thought these would make great bases for glitter, as I do love layering a glitter over a shimmer.

So here is yesterdays mani of Contrary Polish with 1 coat of Toad-ally Awesome and 1 of the Shield.

Dollish Polishes can be purchased from her Store or from Llarowe, where you can also purchase the Contrary polishes too.

Contrary Polish Purple Smoke

I have for you today the first of a line of polish that is new to me, Contrary Polish.  So far all of the creations from Contrary are cream/jellys with a shimmer running through.

The first one I am showing you is Purple Smoke which is a blue toned grey base with a purple and blue shimmer.

I found application of this polish to be great and coverage was opaque in 2 coats.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Purple Smoke and 1 of the Shield.

I was so happy with this one when I tried it and have tried a couple of the others so far and love them too, but more to come on them.

Contrary Polish can be purchased from Llarowe.
