Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed over Illamasqua Smash

Today I have for you all a stunning limited edition polish from Cult Nails.  I have been meaning to try these polishes for a while but when I seen the beauty that was Toxic Seaweed and noticed it was limited, I wasn't risking missing out on it like Clairvoyant.

Anyway, Cult Nails is a brand that was started by the lovely Maria that runs the blog R3 Daily and Toxic Seaweed is part of one the newer collections, Let's Get Nekkid.

Toxic Seaweed is a green jelly polish, with a generous helping of green and silver square glitter running through it, and also flakies to sweeten the mix.

So without further chatting from me, here is my previous mani of Illasmasqua Smash with 2 coats of Toxic Seaweed and 1 coat of the Shield.

Wow, what a stunning polish!  I loved it over the lighter green but thanks to Jeanette of The Swatchaholic and this post, I need to wear it again, over a dark green and matte <3

You can buy Cult Nails from their official store here and polishes are $10 each.  And if that wasn't good enough, Maria is doing an amazing $5 sale on 7th April as a celebration for reaching 5k facebook likes, please see this post for the rules about this sale.  I need to pick out my next purchases.....

Andrea Fulerton Emma with Sparkle Shine Overcoat

Today I have for you another of the Andrea Fulerton Popping Pastels colours, which this time is a very pretty lilac polish.

Again as with Jade there was no application issues and the polish is shown here with 1 coat of the Knight 2 of Emma and no top coat.

And again here is Emma with 2 coats of the Sparkle Shine Ovecoat and 1 coat of the Shield.  The Overcoat shimmer is still pretty subtle but I love the little extra something it brings to the polish.

I really love this shade of purple, and I do think the Overcoat is a quick and easy way to liven up a pretty pastel spring manicure.

Andrea Fulerton polishes can be bought from Superdrug or Amazon are cost £4.99 for the polish and the same for the Overcoat.

Nails Inc Neon and Nude Collection - The Nudes

I have for you all today the first half of the Nails Inc Neon and Nude Collection, the Nude polishes.  I decided to split it up so not to have too many pictures in the one post.

This collection is a set of 6 mini Nails Inc polishes, 3 neon and 3 nude.  I will show you each of the Nudes on their own here, but they can also be mixed and matched with the Neons for a completely different look.

All polishes were photographed using 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

First we have Porchester Square, a muted mushroom polish.

Then we have Cadogan Square, a classic camel polish.

And lastly we have Jermyn Street, a perfect taupe polish.

I think I might be warming to nude type colours as I actually liked wearing all of these, especially Porchester Square.

Have any of you picked up this collection?  If not you can head to the Nails Inc site here and grab it for £22.

So thats the Nude part of this collection, and I will try and get the Neon part up shortly.

a-england Ascalon

I have for you today another stunning polish from the a-england Legend collection.

Ascalon is a mainly grey polish but it also has flashes of lavender which make it a real beauty to look at, and just like the previous Legends I have shown you, it is also a holographic polish.

I had originally worn and photographed this one when my nails were shorter but decided I would wear again now my nails are a little longer, as if I really needed to make an excuse to wear it again.

So here is 1 coat of the Knight, and 2 of Ascalon with no top coat to show you how shiny is even without this.

I think it is honestly safe to say that you all know what I am going to say here, I love this polish!

Have any of you picked up this one?  If not and you want to get your hands on it you can buy it directly from a-england here for £9 with free Worldwide shipping, or you can also get it from Llarowe here.

Illamasqua Smash

Today I have for you all a lovely bright green from Illamasqua, Smash.

This was another one of the Illamasqua polishes I had been dying for, and was so happy that I managed to get it in their sale.

For such a bright colour, this polish was still very pigmented and I was able to get full unstreaky coverage in 2 coats.

So here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Smash and no top coat (as I then layered another pretty over this one, but that is for another post.....)

This polish can still be bought from the Illamasqua site here, priced at £13.50.

Even if you don't want to buy this particular polish, you should head to Illamasqua today to check out the pre-order of their new Collection, Human Fundamentalism, all of the pieces in this new collection look great, especially the 2 new polish colours, great for Spring/Summer!

Andrea Fulerton Jade with Sparkle Shine Overcoat

I have for you all today a pretty polish from the Andrea Fulerton Spring Pastels Collection, a mint green called Jade.

Like the other Andrea Fulerton polishes I have tried so far, application was easy and smooth.  And coverage was opaque in 2 coats.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Jade and no top coat.

I then added Andrea Fulertons Sparkle Shine Overcoat which is a clear top coat polish with micro glitter running through it, which gives a subtle but stunning shimmer to any polish, and I thought it worked perfectly with this pastel type colour.

The Overcoat was pretty smooth after drying so there might not be a need for an additional top coat if you don't want to wear one, but after putting 2 coats of the Sparkle Shine Overcoat on top of the above mani, I then added 1 coat of the Shield to seal it all in.

I love this kind of shade, I think it is perfect for Spring and the micro glitter is the Overcoat is a great addition as it adds a little something else to the plain creme polish, but doesn't take away from the actual colour.

Andrea Fulerton polishes can be bought from Superdrug or Amazon are cost £4.99 for the polish and the same for the Overcoat.

a-england Princess Tears

Today I have for you another of the a-england Legend polishes, Princess Tears.

This polish is mainly lilac in colour but has a greyish tone to it too which makes it even more stunning, the holo in this polish is also pretty strong.  So all things considered, I love this polish!!

Here this beauty is with 1 coat of the Knight and 2 of the polish, with no top coat.  As usual with a-england polish the application was smooth and easy.

You can purchase a-england polishes directly from the a-england site here where they are £9 with free worldwide shipping.  Or you can also buy them from Llarowe here, who is the official US a-england stockist.
