Bye Bye Google Reader

Just a quick post tonight with no nails unfortunately, but a little bit of information.

I have left this a little late but as you probably already know, Google Reader is shutting down from the 01 July and as from that date, you will lose the list of blogs you follow on there.

Another great way to follow a lot of blogs in one place is on Bloglovin’, even if you don't already use it, you can sign up and easily transfer the list of all the blogs you already follow on Google Reader.

Here is the link to mine for you all (which is also on my sidebar with other ways to follow too), see you there xx

Mont Bleu Glass Nail Files

I have a little something different for you all tonight, the lovely people at Mont Bleu asked me to review their products and I was more than happy to say yes.

Mont Bleu sell Glass Nails Files - and other products - which are made in the Czech Republic.

This isn't my first encounter with Czech glass nail files, I have been to Prague on a few occasions and picked up some of these before, not sure of the company who made my other ones, might be the same, but I always loved them.  It has been about 5 years since my last trip to Prague and I was still using the nail files I got at that time.

The ones sent by Mont Bleu are no different.  They were nice enough to send a standard glass file decorated with Swarovski crystals, a large foot file which is also decorated with crystals and a mini coloured handbag file.  They were also kind enough to send my a pair of crystal decorated tweezers and a stunning pair of Crystal earings.

Here are pictures of the items I got.

Now not only do these nail files look pretty, the last for years, as I said my ones from Prague before are still holding up after 5+ years and I am sure these ones will be no exception.

I have also developed a little obsession with the earings, I don't wear earings often and if I do they are just plain studs and these get a compliment everytime I wear them, I would love to pick up some other sets of these at somepoint.

If you want to see more of these files or have a look at any of the other great products, head over to the Mont Bleu site.

Nails Inc Bermondsey - Denim and Andrea Fulerton Dot and Flick White

I have for you all today another of the Nails Inc Textured polishes, this time I have Bermondsey which is a Denim effect.

Again I loved this one, it was pretty easy to apply but as with the other texture polishes you have to wait a little between coats to avoid messing the polish up.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and no top coat.

I had also recently received the new Andrea Fulerton Dot and Flick pen in White.  I loved the black version so was excited to try the White one too.

I decided to try and create a stitching effect on top of the demin polish, the Dot and Flick pen was great and easy to use, and also very pigminted as covered over the blue polish easily.

So here is my attempt at nail art using the pen, still no top coat as wanted to keep the denim effect base.

Nails Inc polishes can be purchased on the official site, and Andrea Fulerton polishes can be purchased from Superdrug.

I loved wearing this one, so fun and it was also easy to apply, even with getting the larger shapes out of the bottle.

I imagine this one would look great over a variety of colours.

You can purchase Nail'd It polishes from Llarowe, I can't see this one on the site at the moment but there are some other great ones there too.

Bondi Blue Skies and Crowstoes Tangled Web

I have for you all today a lovely polish from a new brand called Bondi New York.

I had heard about this up and coming brand for a while through Twitter so was happy to try out their polishes.

Here is Blue Skies which funnily enough is a Sky Blue polish.  This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Blue Skies.

I then topped this polish with 1 coat of Crowstoes Tangled Web - which is made up of black and blueish duochrome glitters in a clear base - and 1 coat of the Shield.

I loved this combo and always love how much glitter you get even with 1 coat of a Crowstoes polish.

The only other thing to mention is that the Bondi polish could have probably got away with 1 coat if you were tidy as coverage was great.

You can pick up Bondi polishes from the official site or Harlow & Co.  And you can get Crowstoes from Llarowe.

I have for you today the first of the lovely polishes from the newest a-england collection.

I know I had shown you all a quick preview before but here is Sleeping Palace in all its glory.

Sleeping Palace is a dark smokey purple holographic polish.

I could have got away with 1 coat as coverage was great but here is 1 coat of the Knight 2 of Sleeping Palace and no top coat.

As per usual with Adina creations this one was a dream to apply and stunning to wear.

You can order in the UK by emailing Adina on hello@a-england.co.uk until they are up on the site or you can order from Llarowe too.  A list of all the a-england distributors can be found on the a-england site.

Oh, before I go, here is a quick shot of Sleeping Palace with 1 coat of Crowstoes Cheshire on top and 1 coat of the Shield.  None of my other pictures of this one turned out for some reason so here it is.

Nails Inc Shoreditch Lane and Soho Mews - Leather Effect

I have for you all today two more of the Nails Inc Leather Effect polishes, as with the Black one, I loved both of them, even the nude coloured one which isn't normally my kind of colour but the textured effect made it that little bit more interesting.

Firstly we have Shoreditch Lane which is a dark red, Mulberry it is called on the Nails Inc site.

This is 1 coat of the Knight and 2 of the polish, no top coat.
