Colors by Llarowe - Fall 2015 - Part 3

Today we have the third and final part of my CbL Fall 2015 posts, I hope you have been loving these as much as I do.

Again, all of these polishes are 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield - apart from The Fallen where I done 3 coats of the polish.

Firstly, we have Last Harvest which is a medium grass green intense linear holo.

I then added some lighter greeny gold glitter to the tips using some top coat to stick and a dusting brush.

Next we have Rare Orchid which is a medium orchid pink scattered holo with subtle shimmer with glowing finish. I actually loved this one and was so surprised as I am not normally the pinkest polish person, but this was the first one I wore when they arrived.

I then added some purple glitter star stickers which I got from She Sells SeaShells, which is a UK vinyl/nail accessory company.

Then we have The Fallen which is a deep copper red jelly base with scattered holo, shifting flake and intense copper to red shimmer.  I think this needed an extra wee coat due to the jelly-ness of the base.

I then added some white rose stickers to these, also from She Sells SeaShells.

Lastly we have Wine and Roses which is a deep wine red intense linear holo and instead of adding something to it, I decided to try a negative space mani using some She Sells SeaShells chevron vinyls.

Thanks for looking as always, and as previously stated these will be available from the 15th - tomorrow - on the Llarowe site and are also available on Rainbow Connection.

Colors by Llarowe - Fall 2015 - Part 2

Today I have the second part to my CbL Fall 2015 posts, there will only be one more after this and I will try and get it up before the launch on the 15th.

But today I am showing you another 3 from the collection.  Again, all swatches are 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Firstly, here is Aubergine Dreams which is a deep aubergine intense linear holo with pink and purple flash.

Then I added some diamante type stickers from an Elegant Touch set I have.

Next we have Lake of the Pines which is a deep pine green with blue undertones soft linear holo.  The holo looks really strong in the bottle on this one but is much more subtle when on the nail.

I then added some gold skull and crossbones from the same Elegant Touch sticker set.

Lastly today we have She's My Cherry Pie which is a deep plum brown intense linear holo with intense shimmer and pink to red flash.

I then added some lilacy coloured studs from a wheel I got from ebay, I wasn't very happy with the turnout of this one at all, I definitely prefer any art that is on my nails to be flatter, they just stuck up too much for my liking.

As I said before, the Fall collection will be on Llarowe from the 15th September and you can also pick them up on Rainbow Connection now.

Thanks for looking <3

Colors by Llarowe - Fall 2015 - Part 1

Sorry for the delay in posting these swatches, I have had them ready for a week or so but haven't had the time after my 'real job' to get on and write up a post.

I am going to show you 3 of the collection today with some 'attempts' at my nails art which are shamefully bad compared to the talent of others, but nail art is just not my strong point, haha.

The first polish I am showing you is Memories of You, which is described on the Llarowe site as a taupe scattered holo with lavender undertone and red shifting shimmer with glowing finish.

I then added some dots - using a standard dotting tool, which I think I got off of ebay - in two stages, the first being Wine & Roses.

And the second being Rare Orchid.

Now I will show you the second polish which is Mocha Grande which is a deep chocolate brown intense linear holo with copper, gold and red shimmer.

I then used a striping tool to add two layers of stripes using Last Harvest (nearest the tips) and Lake of the Pines.

Lastly today I will show you Rain which is a bright sea blue scattered holo with glowing finish.

I then added some diagonal stripes using She's My Cherry Pie.

Now all of these polishes are just amazing application wise, most of them you can get away with one coat of, but I always do two just out of habit and I feel it lasts better.

All swatches are 1 of the Knight, 2 of the polish and then one of the Shield.

These will be available from Llarowe from 15 September but are available now on Rainbow Connection.

Thanks for looking and I will try and get another post (at least) up over the weekend <3

Femme Fetale Bodice Lace & Colors by Llarowe Come Dance the Hora

Today I have two pretty little polishes for you, the first of which is from Femme Fetale, and it was my first of these polishes, and I have to say, it was a great introduction.

Femme Fetales Bodice Lace is from the collection inspired by Snow White and is a blue/purple shimmer polish with multichrome flakies and pink hex glitter.  I love love this combonation!

This is one coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I then thought I would add a coat of Colors by Llarowe, Come Dance the Hora - from the CbL Winter 2013 collection - which is described as a clear base with silver holographic micro glitters, royal blue glitters and royal blue hex glitters.  But this seemed to be way more opaque than I realised so completely covered the base.  It still looks great but just not what I intended, haha.

This is 1 coat of Come Dance the Hora over the above with 1 coat of the Shield.

I just love both of these polishes, shimmer and glitter and holo (oh my.. haha)

I picked up my Femme Fetale from Rainbow Connection and am looking forward to trying some more from this brand as I am really impressed by this one.

And as far as I know this CbL is unfortunately discontinued but many other CbLs can be purchased from the official site.

Thanks for looking <3 xxx

a-england Incense Burner

Today I have another of the stunning a-england Rossetti's Goddess collection to show you all.  This is a lovely shifting beauty called Incense Burner and I have taken the description directly from the a-england website as it is described perfectly there.

Incense Burner is described as follows 'Velvety, mysterious and hypnotic dark plum with the chromatic diversity of brown, green, mauve reflections of an antique bronze vessel'

I have done my best to show you the beauty of this one but as with all colour shifters, some of the colours are more dominant than others.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Incense Burner and 1 of the Shield.

Now as I said, I have tried my best to show this one off, but as with some polishes, this has to be worn to be truly appreciated.

This a-england polish - and many others - are available on the official a-england site if you are in the UK, and if not, visit here for a full list of international stockists.

Thanks so much for looking <3

Emily de Molly Abstract Canvas

I am back and nice and relaxed after a few busy - but great days - in Manchester and London and today I am showing you Emily de Molly Abstract Canvas over my last post of Cadillacquer A Dragon Is Not A Slave.

I actually forgot I had done this layering combination or I would have shown it all in the one post.

Abstract Canvas is a polish I have been lusting after since I initially seen it released and I eventually caved a few months ago and bought it off of Rainbow Connection.  Abstract Canvas has a clear base with a variety of coloured hex glitters but it was the large black circles that made this polish stand out to me.

This is one coat of Abstract Canvas over A Dragon Is Not A Slave with a coat of the Shield on top.

As I said, I got this one from Rainbow Connection, but you can also visit here for a full list of stockists.

Thanks for looking and wish me luck for my return to work tomorrow <3

Cadillacquer A Dragon Is Not A Slave

Sorry for the little absence again, life seems determined to test my patience this year, but I am off work for a week now and off to London for a wee trip so things are looking up :D

Anywhere, I thought I would show you all today a stunning little Cadillacquer Dreams & Dust (Game of Thrones) Collection.  This pretty is A Dragon Is Not A Slave and is a pewter holographic polish with a great little pink shimmer.

This is one coat of the Knight, two of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I actually love Cadillacquer polishes and this one is no exception, such a great polish with great inspiration behind it.

I picked my bottle up from Rainbow Connection or please see here for a full list of stockists.

Thanks for looking and I will try not to leave it as long next time <3

a-england Jane Morris and Lynnderella Lucky Numbers

The first polish I have for you all today is Jane Morris which is from the newest a-england collection, Rossettis Goddess.

Jane Morris is a great slate grey holo polish with a very cool subtle little purple sparkle running throughout.

As always with a-englands this polish was a dream to apply, this is 1 coat of the Knight and 2 of the polish.

I have been buying some polishes on ebay from a great seller recently and I have been managing to snag some polishes that I would never have been able to otherwise.  The one I am referring to here is Lynnderella Lucky Numbers which is a variety of red and black glitters in a milky base which also has a great reddy shimmer through it.

This is one coat over the above with a coat of the Shield to level it all out.

This a-england polish is now available on the official a-england site, if you are in the UK, and if not, a-englands can be purchased from Llarowe or visit here for a full list of international stockists.

As I said, I got this Lynnderella from a seller on ebay (for a very reasonable price so don't think I've been spending crazy money) but upon doing a bit of googling, I think the official places to buy them are here or on ebay here  or in Europe here - but I haven't used any of these sites to purchase before.

Thanks so much for looking <3

Sarah Jae Glitters

I have for you all today some polishes from a new UK indie brand, Sarah Jae.

I was contacted a little while back by Sarah Jae in regards to her polishes but as you all have probably noticed, my head has just not been in the game but I am trying to get back to posting on here when I can.  So firstly, I apologise to Sarah for my delays.

Anyway, now to the thing you are actually here for, the polish and I have 4 glitters to show you today.  All are 1 coat of the Knight, 2 coats of an a-england base, 1 coat of the glitter and a coat of the Shield to make the glitters extra shiny.

First we have 'A Yellow Situation' which is yellow squares, gold hex and some off white hexes too and is shown over a-england Gunievere.

Next we have 'I Want Blue' which is made up of cobalt blue and gold glitters and is shown over a-england Galahad.

The next one is called 'Pink Mix' which is light pink squares, rose pink hexes, and irredescent blue glitters and I have layered this over a-england Elaine.

Lastly we have 'Treasure Chest' which is made up of gold glitters, iridescent glitters and also some black micro glitters - which you can't really see as I layered it over a-england Camelot - but the gold stands out great if I do say so myself, ha.

I hope you like these glitters and my choices for layering, and I will try and be back a bit more from now on.

You can buy Sarahs polishes from the official site, which includes all these glitters and more, and also some cremes too.

Thanks for looking <3

Mont Bleu Product Review

I have for you today another review of the great products available from Mont Bleu.

If you have seen my previous posts on these products, you have already hear me gush about their amazing glass nail files, and I jumped at the chance to review some more of these and some another products too.

Here is a wee couple of group pictures of the products I received and then I will take you through them one at a time.

This is the products as you receive them.

And this is them removed from any packaging.

This item is called a foot scraper and as expected is used for buffing any hard skin that may develop, on your feet and even hands I suppose.  It is really heavy and durable feeling and easily washed after use.

The below item is your standard small variety nail clipper but with the amazing addition of some Swarovski to decorate it.  This make the item very pretty to look at, and also as the handle turns in when you use (as per any nail clippers) the crystals stay out of harms way.  I do love little nail clippers as my nails grow quite quickly - which can be a blessing and a curse - so I normally trim them down with clippers before filing them into shape.  I felt these clippers gave a nice clean cut without snagging the nail.

And a close up to show you the sparkles....

I then have a little pair of nail scissors, which can be used in the same way as the clippers for tripping down length.

Again, these are decorated with pretty little Swarovski crystals to give it a little sparkle and make them stand out from any old scissors.  Again, I experienced no issues when using these to cut my nails.

And of course, a package from Mont Bleu would not be complete without nail files.  These ones are one of the Waterfall designs and are purple and pink, as you can see, and have complimenting Swarovski crytals to match the waterfall colouring.

And last but certainly not least, I have a stunning pair of earings.

You may or may not recognise the very same earings from my first Mont Bleu post and I had dearly loved that pair since then, but I sadly lost one at a recent night out and desperately needed to replace them with an identical pair.  I just love these little crystal studs so much, the are like multichrome earnings!

Thanks for looking as always and all of the above items and many more great products can be purchased on the official Mont Bleu site.
