Freckles Polish Christmas Collection (Winter Wonderland and You Better Not Shout)

Now I will start off this post by saying I am not a chrismassy person, I never really got the whole festive season jazz, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a pretty little Christmas polish :)

Now I showed you my first Freckles Polishes yesterday and this is 2 more from another collection, the Christmas Collection which is also launching on the 28th of this month.

Firstly I will show you Winter Wonderland which is a irridescent/flaky/glittery top coat.

Now this polish has a clear base, so can pretty much be layered over any colour but I choose to keep it simple and layer it over black and white.

First I will show you it over black which really brings out the blues in the base.  This is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 of a-england Camelot, 1 of WW and one of the Shield.

Now here it is over white, which makes the blue shimmer a lot less in your face, but does look a little ethereal, like fresh snow or something.  This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Nails Inc Floral Street, 1 coat of WW and one of the Shield.

Then I have the second polish from the Christmas Collection to show you, this is You Better Not Shout which is a purple jelly polish with various sized holo glitters throughout.  This is 1 coat of the Knight, 3 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I was really impressed with both of these polishes as well, they are both different kinds of polish from the ones I showed you yesterday but application was still good so no complaints here.

Again, these will be available from the Freckles Polish Etsy site (UK only) from 28 November.

Freckles Polish - Prank Call Collection (Ben Dover and Chris P Bacon)

Apologies for the little gap in posting, been super busy and finally finding a little time tonight to share these polishes with you.

I have tonight 2 polishes from a brand I have seen around but have not had the chance to try, until now obviously.  I am showing you 2 polishes from the Freckles Polish Prank Call collection, which is a tongue in cheek little collection where the polishes are names after classic cheesy prank call names.

The first one I will show you is Ben Dover which is a navy polish with a great shimmer.

Application was great and even with the mini bottles, I had no problem with the brush,

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

The second polish I have to show you from this collection is Chris P Bacon which is a pink polish that also has a great shimmer to it.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I am really impressed with these two polishes and wold happy try more from this brand, I do have a couple of the Xmas polishes to show you too, so will do this in the next couple of days.  This collection will be released on 28 November, so keep an eye out on the official store to see these, and some other newbies too :D  Oh I should say as well, Freckles Polish is a UK based brand, so at this point can only ship within the UK..

Cadillacquer The Dark Defender

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, had a busy week and been too tired to prepare,,

But anyway, since I am having a lazy Saturday, figured I could fit a quick post in.

I wanted to show you one of the newly discontinued Cadillacquer polishes from the Dexter Collection  The Dark Defender has a dark teal jelly base with light green and purple micro flakies.  Now you can use a few coats and build this one up but I decided to layer it.

This is 1 coat of The Dark Defender over 2 coats of a-england Crown of Thistles and 1 coat of the Shield on top of it all.  I love how this looks even with just one layer, I have included a little close up to try and show the flakies off.  The purple base makes it look much more blue, but you can see the real teal colour in the bottle.

This polish is still available on the official site, but as I said, its now discontinued and in the sale (with some other great polishes) so don't miss our if you want it....You can also check out the other stockist such as Llarowe, Harlow & Co or Rainbow Connection.

Candeo Zef (with a-england Princess Tears and Colors by Llarowe Coconut)

Only the one post tonight, as I am tired and ready for the weekend already... But this post does have a couple different polishes in it, so that should make up for it :)

I wanted to show you Candeo Zef which I got off Llarowe probably at least a year ago, possibly closer to two... and I know they are no longer sold on the Llarowe site but you can still buy them on the official site as far as I am aware.

Zef is a great little clear based glitter, and the glitters in it are black, pink and blue in various sizes...and I just love the squares.

Firstly I will show you a really old swatch of this one, that I found in my newly rescued hard drive, my nails were much shorter here but this is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of a-england Princess Tears, 1 of Zef and 1 Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food as a top coat - which has a matte kind of finish.

I now have for you a new swatch using Candeo Zef, in a jelly sandwich with Colors by Llarowe Coconut, which is a pure white jelly polish.  I will show you Coconut first, this is 1 coat of the Knight and 3 coats of the polish.

I then put one coat of Zef on top and another coat of Coconut and 1 coat of the Shield to finish it all off.

As I said, Candeos can be purchased from the official site, and this one is still there, along with some other great looking polishes that I would like to get but I am a little perplexed by the way international orders are handled, probably just as I have not seen it done this way before.

a-englands can be bought on the official a-england site, if you are in the UK, and if not, a-englands can be purchased from Llarowe or visit here for a full list of international stockists

Colors by Llarowe polishes can be purchased from the official site, Harlow and Co and Rainbow Connection.

Cadillacquer Where The Wild Things Are

I have a Cadillacquer to show you tonight that I think was discontinued quite a while back, but this was another polish that was on my thought to be broken hard drive, but I thought it was too pretty not to show.  Again these pictures were taken with my previous camera a good time ago but bear with me.

Where The Wild Things Are is from the second Cadillacquer collection, Such Is Life and has a smoky greeny grey base with yellow shimmer, iridescent glitters and colored flakies.

I love this one and am sad I didn't show it off sooner.  This is 1 coat of the Knight 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

As I said, this polish has been discontinued and is no longer available on the official site but you can pick up some others there - when Madeleine is back on the 15th - or you can also buy Cadillacquers from Llarowe, Harlow & Co and Rainbow Connection

Thanks for looking <3 xx

Darling Diva Polish Darling Nikki

Firstly I will apologise as I swatched this polish so many months ago but just managed to get back into my external hard drive and access the pictures I had archived there.  So I am super happy about that, as all my pictures - since Pandora's Nails started are on there - along with some swatched but not shown yet pretties, I thought they were stuck on there forever...

But anyway, this pretty is Darling Nikki and has a sheer purple base which is filled with multicoloured microglitter, small black circles and medium black circles.

I really liked this one but as the description says, the base is sheer so I have shown you it alone and over a base.  I also think these pictures were taken on my previous camera, which was good with the close ups but got replaced as was not go good with some colors.

This picture shows 4 coats Darling Nikki alone on the middle and pinkie and 2 coats of a-england Guinevere on the pointer and ring.

I got this one from  Llarowe but you can also but from the Darling Diva site directly.

Cadllacquer Slice of Life

I have for you today another sadly discontinued Cadillacquer polish.

This one is Slice of Life and is from the Dexter collection.  Slice of Life is a bright red jelly polish and the site noted it as having blue shimmer but it looks quite pink/purple in some lights and I think this may just be because of how red the base is.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I nearly didn't get this one as I am not normally the biggest wearer of basic bright reds, but I am so glad I did as the shimmer makes this one something special.

Currently the Cadillacquer official site is closed as the lucky Madeleine is away on holiday at the moment but the shop will open again on 15 November but you can also buy Cadillacquers from Llarowe, Harlow & Co and Rainbow Connection

Thanks for looking <3 xx

Colors by Llarowe Candy is Dandy

Today we have something a little different for Pandora's nails, a really girly polish.

This is described on the Llarowe site as a lavender orchid - which to me says it would be a pale purpley/pink shade - and seems to look more on the pink than the purple side on me but that may just be my skin tone etc.

This is one coat of the Knight, 3 of the polish (as it is a crelly kind of base, it takes a little extra coat to be completely opaque) and no topcoat in these pictures but I did add little stickers (from ebay, which you can see in the last picture) to this mani - as if the pink wasn't girly enough already, ha.

Colors by Llarowe polishes can be purchased from the official site, Harlow and Co and Rainbow Connection.

Cadillacquer She's One Of A Kind and Car Wash

I am actually quite enjoying this two posts a night thing right now, and I hope you are too but I can see it not continuing for too long as it is a lot of work to prepare 2 separate posts after work etc but we will see...

Anyway, my second post actually contains two lovely Cadillacquer polishes.

We will start with the polish that is my base for this mani, She's One Of A Kind from the Seek The Fire Collection.

This polish is just so subtly pretty, it has a light greyish blue base with pink shimmer, there is also a very subtle holo effect to this one too.  I just love the shimmer in this one, it was a little camera shy but kept catching my eye in work today.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I then decided to do a little design with another beautiful Cadillacquer polish which is unfortunately a discontinued one from the Breaking Bad collection, Car Wash.

Car Wash is a dusty blue polish, again with pink shimmer and subtle holo.  This is one coat over the above with a coat of the Shield to seal it all in.

To make the 'design' I actually used simple scotch tape and cut the shape using some craft scissors that I bought a set of with different designs years ago and completely forgot I had until recently.

As I said Car Wash is sadly no longer available on the official site , but She's One Of A Kind is, along with many other.  You can also check out the other stockist such as Llarowe, Harlow & Co or Rainbow Connection

a-england Fotheringhay Castle

I have the last of the new a-england Elizabeth and Mary collection to show you today.

Fotheringhay Castle is inspired by the Castle that Mary was imprisoned in until her execution.

This one is a mossy green holo with hints of gold, and surprised me a lot as being quite possibly my favourite of this collection.  I always find this hard to say, especially as I have never not liked an a-england polish, but this one just wowed me so much when on the nail.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

This collection is now available on the official a-england site, if you are in the UK, and if not, a-englands can be purchased from Llarowe or visit here for a full list of international stockists.

Thanks so much for looking <3

a-england Queen of Scots

This is another stunning polish from the new a-england collection.

Queen of Scots is inspired by Mary and is an extremely rich and deep royal blue which has such a glow to it.

And even better the coverage is just amazing....this is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 of the polish (yes, just one) and 1 of the Shield.

This collection is now available on the official a-england site, if you are in the UK, and if not, a-englands can be purchased from Llarowe or visit here for a full list of international stockists.
