I bought all 4 of the 17 Magnet polishes in Boots a few weeks back I think it was and after trying a different colour on each nail to get the hang of it, the first full mani I done was with the green one.
This was my first experience with magnetic nail polish so took a bit of trial and error before I got it right, but the actual use of the magnet was pretty easy. I done 1 normal coat of the polish on all of my nails and then left to dry and then done another coat of the polish one nail at a time, holding the magnet over the nail while the polish was still wet to create the effect. The cap has a handy lip to rest on your cuticle to avoid you bumping your nail with the magnet.
So here is the final result, this is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.
Have you tried any magnetic polishes yet, how do you find them?
Thanks for looking <3 xx
waw looks amazing, I have one from essence but
ReplyDeleteit doesn't work.
This looks realy great!
Do they sel them online?
Thank you Shannara, they do sell them online on the Boots website, but as far as I am aware they only ship within the UK. xx
ReplyDeleteI like how you did the stripes on this one Rebecca! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks chicky <3 xx
ReplyDeleteI also have an Essence one but the contrast on it between the bits that are attracted to the magnet and the bits that aren't isn't as great as on the Boots and NI ones (plus I kept crashing into my nail with the magnet!!) It is a lovely colour though, slightly duochrome!! Just a shame I don't think I can face the effort of trying to use it very often.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this looks like a lovely shade of green! And I like the effect on your nails :) x
Ohh, sounds pretty, and I know what you mean about the extra work :) and thank you as always Marie <3 xxx
ReplyDeletethat's a pity, thanks for the info Rebecca
