a-england Dancing With Nureyev

Firstly Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!  Sorry it is late and for the lack of posting over the festive period but was kept pretty busy between family and friends so can't complain.

For my first post of the year I have for you Dancing with Nureyev from the new a-england Ballerina collection.  Now I knew I would love this one before I even tried it on, as well, it is blue, but not just blue, it is a violet leaning blue which has an almost linear holo effect and looks even better on the nails than in the bottle.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.  You could probably get away with 1 coat of this one as coverage was great as always.

 

It is probably no surprise to you that I  really love this one and I dare you not to love it too once you have it on your nails!

Colors By Llarowe Y U All Up In My Grill

I have for you today another Colors By Llarowe which is a glitter this time.

This one is called Y U All Up In My Grill and is a gold and silver holo glitter in a clear base.  This was actually so difficult for me to photograph due to how blingy (I don't ever use this word, but couldn't think of another way to describe it) the polish was. 

It was also very dense glitter and coverage was amazing with just the one coat, and even despite of this application was not tricky at all.

This is my previous mani of Bubs Don't Make Bubbas with 1 coat of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Colors by Llarowe are super popular and do sell out quickly so keep an eye on the Llarowe Facebook and official site for restock information. (at the time of writing this post, this polish is in stock but may not be for long!)

Dear Rus Marshmallow Polishes

I have for you today 5 polishes from the Marshmallow line of Dear Rus polishes.

This was my first time trying Dear Rus polishes and I was impressed with the application of these.

The first one I have to show you is NM02 which is a rose pink creme polish.  This is 1 coat of the Knight, 3 of the polish and 1 of the Shield. (Same top and base coat all on manis here to same repeating myself)

Next we have NM07 which is a dusty jade creme.   This is 2 coats with top and base coat.

Then we have NM08 which is a sky blue shimmer polish.  This is 2 coats with top and base coat.

Then we have NM17 which is a milky pale yellow creme.  This is 2 coats with top and base coat.

Lastly we have NM17 which is a milky pale blue creme.  This is 3 coats with top and base coat.

I was happy with all of these and have some polishes from some of the other Dear Rus lines to try and am looking forward to doing so.

a-england Encore Margot

Today I have for you all the first of four polishes from the new a-england Ballerina Collection.

You have probably been seeing these around a lot, as I know I have, and love them each time I have seen them. 

a-england polishes seem to be a bigger and bigger hit with each collection and this is due to the standard of the polish and the fact you know each polish in the collection is going to be stunning before you even see it.

So the first I will show you is Encore Margot which is a pale icy silvery blue polish and as always with a-england application was perfect and if you are careful you could get away with just one coat.

The holo in this polish seemed almost linear and the effect in sunlight (when it makes an appearance here) is so pretty.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I love this polish, and wore alone when I first got the collection through, and them again with a-england Merlin over the top for my Christmas night out at the weekend (and am still wearing it) and have received so many compliments.  I cannot wait to show you the rest of the collection either and I hope you all like seeing them as much as I like wearing them.
