17 Magnetized - Green

I couldn't quite bear taking Lizard Belly off yet so had a look through my photo archive and found this one which I hadn't shown you yet, not sure why, but anyway.

I bought all 4 of the 17 Magnet polishes in Boots a few weeks back I think it was and after trying a different colour on each nail to get the hang of it, the first full mani I done was with the green one.

This was my first experience with magnetic nail polish so took a bit of trial and error before I got it right, but the actual use of the magnet was pretty easy.  I done 1 normal coat of the polish on all of my nails and then left to dry and then done another coat of the polish one nail at a time, holding the magnet over the nail while the polish was still wet to create the effect.  The cap has a handy lip to rest on your cuticle to avoid you bumping your nail with the magnet.

So here is the final result, this is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

17 Autumn/Winter Polishes - Revenge and Fury

I have for you today 2 polishes from the Autumn Winter collection from (Boots) 17.   There are 3 polishes in this collection, Revenge, Fury and Sulk

These are the first 17 polishes I have tried in quite some time, and I was very pleased with the result.  Application was easy and both polishes were opaque in 2 coats.  These are 'Fast Finish' polishes so the drying time was also great.

Firstly I will show you Revenge.  This polish is a sort of aubergine colour but it also has a micro glitter shimmer of gold, and possibly purple, running through it which gives a slight duochrome look.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Next I have for you, Fury.  This polish is a tarnished gold colour and has a foil like finish and if you look closely there is a slight green duochrome flash.

This again is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I really liked both of these colours on the nail and will be getting the other from the collection, which is a green called Sulk for sure.  These polishes can be bought from Boots and are £2.99 for the 8ml bottle.
