a-england The Complete Holos

Morning everyone!

I have something I am very excited to show you all today, and it is not a polish you haven't seen before, here or on other sites.  But I was doing my nails last night and simply could not decide which polish to wear, and when I am in that mood I generally gravitate towards my a-england, especially the holo polishes, as I know I will find something to suit my mood, that does not require a lot of effort to apply.  But not even a single a-england jumped out at me, so was originally going to pick two to alternate, then it was like a little lightbulb went off, why not wear *all* the holos!!

So thats what I did, and thats what I have to show you now.  As you may be aware there are only eight a-england holos so I done both thumbs with Camelot (not pictured but here is my original post)  and then took my holos out and started on my left hand pointer and went from there to pinkie, then from right hand pointer to pinkie, in the order the holos are on the a-england site.  This is how my a-englands are stored in my helmer anyway, so didn't take much effort to work out the order to paint, and here is a picture of all the pretty holos lined up.

I will just say this now so don't have to keep saying it, each nail has 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield (which is the bottle I am holding).  I will also link to the full post on each polish when I name them.

First here is my Left hand, which you are all very familiar with by now, so from pointer to pinkie we have:

Saint George, Dragon, Princess Sabra (Tristam Eyes) and Princess Tears.

And then we have something I don't think you have ever seen on here, my right hand, which as you can probably tell, isn't as used to being posed for pictures!  Again from pointer to pinkie we have:

Then since I got a tripod for my camera yesterday too, we have a picture of both hands just 'cause I can.

Now I hope you liked looking at my pictures of this mani as much as I love wearing it, I think I will be keeping this on as long as possible!!

All these polishes can be purchased directly from a-england for £9 (with free shipping) or also at Llarowe for $12.

So I will leave you now with one last pretty holo picture to say goodbye...

Thank you for looking and please leave me a little comment to let me know your thoughts on my holo skittle nails.

Some of the products in this post were sent to me for review.

The Complete a-england Mythicals Collection

Wow, 100 followers on GFC, I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who looks at and takes an interest in my blog.  I know there are so many amazing ones out there so I appreciate each person that stops here.  My thanks are obviously for you all - GFC followers, Facebook likers, Twitter and Bloglovin followers, email subscribers and even just the passers by.

I have had this post planned for a while but wanted to wait until GFC got to 100 to publish it, as anyone who comes to visit Pandora's Nails will know, I love a-england polishes and have shown each of the Mythicals in at least one post already, but I thought for ease of reference it would be good to have them all in the one place..............I also really enjoyed trying them all on at the one time and creating all the different combos.

I will show you today all of the Mythicals alone first (2 coats), then with 1 coat of Morgan Le Fay and again with 1 coat of Merlin.  The Knight was used as a base coat on all polishes, but I decided not to use top coat of any of them to show you just how sparkly they are alone, so the bottle I am holding is the Shield so it wasn't completely left out.

Incase any of you are wondering, I chose the order of the swatches based on the order of the polishes on the a-england website, which is how they are stored in my case too.  I will also link to each polishes individual post using their name incase anyone wants to look further.

First we have King Arthur, Excalibur, Iseult, and Guinevere.

Then with Morgan Le Fay.

Then with Merlin.

With Morgan Le Fay.

With Merlin.

And then we have Camelot, Avalon, Perceval, Galahad and Holy Grail.

With Morgan Le Fay.

With Merlin.

Thank you all for looking once again <3 xxx

a-england Tristam

This post is about a polish I love love love, I have worn it countless times since I got it at the start of July, and always for a few days each time (which to anyone that knows how I am with my polish, that will say a lot)

This was my second purchase from a-england (preceded only by The Lady of the Lake) and was one of the first ones I was interested in buying, the scattered holo particles in this and the Lady are to die for and I was besotted as soon as I seen them.  Adina describes this on the website as 'night blue sky with starlight glimmer and glow' which would sell it to me, even without a picture.

Anyway, Tristam is a beautiful dark blue with scattered holographic particles through it.  It is lovely in natural light, which will be the pictures I will show you first, but when in direct sunlight (which I had to substitute with my camera flash as the rain is non stop just now) it really comes to life.......  and the fact that it also shares a name with the cutest kitty which makes it extra special........  I couldn't resist putting in a picture of him here, this is the latest one from the a-england Facebook page

Now back to the polish, all pictures are taken using 1 coat of Nails Inc Underground basecoat, 2 coats of Tristam and 1 coat of a-englands topcoat The Shield.

In natural light you can still see the holo, but it is more subtle.......

With flash - which is how the polish looks in the sunshine - the holo is just breathtaking..........

The application of this polish was the great, again it has a thick consistency, but not too thick, and as it is quite highly pigmented 1 coat would have probably sufficed but I went with 2.

As you have probably established I am a little bit infatuated with a-england polishes and cannot wait to get the few more I need to complete The Mythicals collection...................and by the sounds of it this will just be in time for the next collection, which all I really know so far about it is that it will be a new collection, smaller than the Mythicals, and will contain not one but two green holos!!

It is quite sad how excited this makes me and I cannot wait to see Adinas next stunning additions to the Nail Polish Universe.

Again all current a-england polishes can be bought from the official website for £9 each and here is a link to Tristam.

**

Oh and for anyone who wants to participate, Adina is running a competition on the a-england Facebook page to win one of the collection, which is running until 26th August.

How it works - A Polaroid of one of the colours is put up at random and if you 'tag' yourself in this photo you are in for a chance to win this.  I have not participated in this yet as all the colours that have been up for grabs so far are ones I already have but if I happen to be on FB when the ones I don't have get put up, I will be for sure.
