Darling Diva Polish Darling Nikki

Firstly I will apologise as I swatched this polish so many months ago but just managed to get back into my external hard drive and access the pictures I had archived there.  So I am super happy about that, as all my pictures - since Pandora's Nails started are on there - along with some swatched but not shown yet pretties, I thought they were stuck on there forever...

But anyway, this pretty is Darling Nikki and has a sheer purple base which is filled with multicoloured microglitter, small black circles and medium black circles.

I really liked this one but as the description says, the base is sheer so I have shown you it alone and over a base.  I also think these pictures were taken on my previous camera, which was good with the close ups but got replaced as was not go good with some colors.

This picture shows 4 coats Darling Nikki alone on the middle and pinkie and 2 coats of a-england Guinevere on the pointer and ring.

I got this one from  Llarowe but you can also but from the Darling Diva site directly.

Thanks for looking <3

a-england Excalibur Renaissance and Hurt No Living Thing

Today I have a post to show you that I am really excited about, I will warn you know, there are a lot of pictures, but not one the same as I wanted to show you so many different things.

This post not only marks the return of the wonderful a-england Excalibur, now Excalibur Renaissance, it also debuts the new Heavenly Quote, Hurt No Living Thing, which is inspired by the lovely poem by Christina Geogina Rossetti.

Firstly I will show you Excalibur Renaissance, which is essentially just the re-branded and re-launched original Excalibur, but that does not make it any less beautiful.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

1 a-england excalibur renaissance

Now we have Hurt No Living Thing which is a great addition to the current a-england line up, and joins the existing Heavenly Quotes.  It is a lovely muted polish that shifts between grey and dusty pink, and the shimmer in this one is just so amazing.

It is quite a sheer polish, so is good for layering, but also looks so pretty and delicate alone.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 4 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

2 a-england hurt no living thing

Then we have both polishes together, I used a fan brush dipped in Excalibur and dragged it over the existing mani of Hurt No Living Thing.

3 a-england excalibur over hurt no living thing

Now, I wanted to show you how Hurt No Living Thing looked over several different shades so picked a few out of my a-england family to use.

I also wanted Excalibur Renaissance to make another appearance and since I recently found out just how good it is for nail art, I decided to use it this way.

Each picture is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the base colour with 1 of Hurt No Living Thing on 3 fingers.  On my ring finger I just left the base alone - which also shows how Hurt No Living Thing changes the base colour - and done some nail art using Excalibur Renaissance, please don't let my very basic skills take away from how good it is at coverage....

I then added 1 coat of the Shield to seal it all in, and noticed no streaking from the art which I have had issues with before when using other colours.

First here is Hurt No Living Thing over Guinevere, with Excalibur hearts.

4 a-england hurt no living thing and excalibur over guinevere

Now over Briar Rose with Stripes.

5 a-england hurt no living thing and excalibur over briar rose

Then over Bridal Veil with some sponging.

6 a-england hurt no living thing and excalibur over bridal veil

And now over Elaine with some crosses.

7 a-england hurt no living thing and excalibur over elaine

And lastly over Her Rose Adagio, which due to the light base, I didn't think it would show up Excalibur alone too well so I did some Camelot dots and then Excalibur on top.

8 a-england hurt no living thing and excalibur over her rose adagio

Wow, that was a long one, thanks so much if you made it to here.

I hope I have shown you how versatile both of these polishes are, and I know I will be using both often.  I especially love how Hurt No Living Thing looks over dark colours and I am sure there are many many more combinations to be tried.

Both of these polishes are now available on the official a-england site, if you are in the UK, and if not, a-englands can be purchased from Llarowe or visit here for a full list of international stockists.

Thanks so much for looking <3

Ozotic 533 over a-england Guinevere

I have for you today the lovely Ozotic 533, which I have shown you before here over black but here is how it looks over a lighter colour, in this case I chose a-england Guinevere, - just a warning for people who click the next link - this was my very first swatch post *blushes* - so if you dare, here is Guinevere shown alone.

Now, if you are still around after that, this one was a mani I had worn months ago, and I found it filed in the wrong folder when clearing so decided to show you it now.  533 is one of the 'mish mash' Ozotics which is a multichrome holo polish and  shifts from mainly blue and purple but with hints of copper and green too.  Now this polish is amazing, but sadly is being discontinued so grab it while you can.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Guinevere, 2 of 533 and 1 of the Shield.

At the time of writing this, 533 is still available on Llarowe here and as I say, it is one of many Ozotics that are being discontinued, so don't hesitate if you want this one.

You can buy a-england from official site here, or also from Llarowe.

Thanks for looking <3 xxx

Lynnderella Love Potion No99 and a-england Guinevere

Happy New Year everyone!!  Hope you had a great time!

I wanted to start this post by saying Thank You to you all for your support in 2011, it has been great to hear positive comments and hear your opinions on the pretties I show you.  I have met so many great people through blogging who are very special to me and won't go through the whole naming names things as I would be here all night, but you know who you all are.

Further to that, 2011 ended on a great note for my blog, I am probably quite bad at noticing and acknowledging numbers on here but I had seen recently my total page views was in the 19k range and had decided it would be nice to get to 20k for the new year, I didn't share this with anyone as I didn't want people to visit just to get the views up.  So the count down to 20k was more exciting to me than the one to the bells, haha, and just as midnight came, I hit 20,002 pageviews, so thank you all <3 <3

Anyway, today (a bit later than usual so I apologise for that) I have for you another lovely Lynnderella polish from the even lovelier Llarowe.

Here is Love Potion No99, which as far as I can tell is also from the Halloween collection and is described here:

Purple, violet and fuchsia hexagons and squares in a cool violet base. Multiple sizes and violet holographic micro glitter.

Again as this has a coloured base, it could be worn alone, but I decided to layer it with a-england Guinevere.  As the Love Potion No99 base is quite purple, you can't really see the colour of Guinevere at all, but I feel it provided a good base for this combo.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 of Guinevere, 2 of Love Potion No99 and 1 of the Shield.

Thanks for looking <3 xx

Glitter Gal Frappe over a-england Guinevere

Today I have Glitter Gal Frappe for you again, but this time it is layered over a-england Guinevere.

I absolutely love how this combo turned out so figured it deserved its own post as I couldn't narrow down the pictures anyway.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 of Guinevere, 1 of Frappe and 1 of the Shield.

Thanks for looking <3

The Complete a-england Mythicals Collection

Wow, 100 followers on GFC, I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who looks at and takes an interest in my blog.  I know there are so many amazing ones out there so I appreciate each person that stops here.  My thanks are obviously for you all - GFC followers, Facebook likers, Twitter and Bloglovin followers, email subscribers and even just the passers by.

I have had this post planned for a while but wanted to wait until GFC got to 100 to publish it, as anyone who comes to visit Pandora's Nails will know, I love a-england polishes and have shown each of the Mythicals in at least one post already, but I thought for ease of reference it would be good to have them all in the one place..............I also really enjoyed trying them all on at the one time and creating all the different combos.

I will show you today all of the Mythicals alone first (2 coats), then with 1 coat of Morgan Le Fay and again with 1 coat of Merlin.  The Knight was used as a base coat on all polishes, but I decided not to use top coat of any of them to show you just how sparkly they are alone, so the bottle I am holding is the Shield so it wasn't completely left out.

Incase any of you are wondering, I chose the order of the swatches based on the order of the polishes on the a-england website, which is how they are stored in my case too.  I will also link to each polishes individual post using their name incase anyone wants to look further.

First we have King Arthur, Excalibur, Iseult, and Guinevere.

Then with Morgan Le Fay.

Then with Merlin.

With Morgan Le Fay.

With Merlin.

And then we have Camelot, Avalon, Perceval, Galahad and Holy Grail.

With Morgan Le Fay.

With Merlin.

Thank you all for looking once again <3 xxx

Nails Inc Pelham Place with a-england Guinevere............Mattified

This post was done at the request of Maria who commented on yesterdays post saying the mani would look really good Mattified.

I have had my Nails Inc Matte top coat for a few months now and have only used it a few times as I like the idea of Matte but also love really shiny nails so normally can't bear to make a colour matte once I have seen it glossy.

So anyway, here is yesterday Mani with Nails Inc Pelham Place and a-englands Guinevere but with 1 coat of Nails Inc Westminster Bridge Matte Effect Top Coat over it.

What do you think?  Do you prefer this mani Matte or Glossy??

Nails Inc Pelham Place with a-england Guinevere

This mani started out the strangest way, I had an urge to wear baby pink nail polish, which is very unlike me so I was actually surprised that I still had one in my collection, as between swaps and eBay most of my light colours have gone to other homes.  But there must had been a reason that I held onto Nails Inc Pelham Place, I think it was due to the fact it was a very baby pink, but not sheer and I must have thought, one day......

I went to work and received many 'wow, pink nails' comments and was thinking 'yes, this pink is nice, but might need to jazz it up a bit'  This led me to a 'lightbulb' moment of how well Pelham Place would match with a-englands Guinevere.

Which led to ....... my first tape mani...........

This was the first time I had actually tried this and am happy with how it turned out, although the process will need some tweaking I think.

All pictures are with 1 coat of Nails Inc Underground basecoat, 2 coats of Pelham Place, 1 coat of Guinevere and 1 coat of The Shield

Anyways, hope you like and again any comments are appreciated.

a-england Guinevere............ with some added sparkle

I have been trying to get into the habit of taking pictures of each paint job I do, so have quite a few to sort through before I can do my next full post, but thought this would fill the gap, this is the Mani from my last post with a-englands Guinevere, which after a day of wear I decided to jazz up a bit with some glitter which I mixed myself using a Miss Sporty topcoat and some craft glitter.

Hope you all like and again, any messages or comments are much appreciated....
