Colors by Llarowe Licorice and Polish Under The Influence (PUI)

Wow two posts in one day, been a while since that happened.

I wanted to show off this little beauty that I wore a good while back and I remembered I had it in my archive when I have been showing off some of the other CbL jellies the last couple of days.

Licorice is a black jelly and looks so shiny and squishy.  This is 1 coat of the Knight and 2 of the polish.

I then wanted to do a kind of jelly sandwich with Licorice and Polish Under The Influence (PUI) but I have left my ring finger with just one coat of PUI over Licorice so you can see what it looks like alone. too.

And to try and show you it a bit better.

PUI is such a little complex polish anyway but I though the shimmer of the glitters and the flakies showed through great under Licorice too.

As always, CbLs can be purchased from the official site, Harlow and Co and Rainbow Connection.

Licorice is available on the official site but I didn't see PUI on there at this time.

Colors by Llarowe Smokin' In The Boys Room & Aliens and Outlaws

Today we have another post of some of the CbL Summer polishes, I can't believe how long it has taken me to show you some of them, I promise not to be so belated with the fall collection once it reaches me.

The first one I will show you is Smokin' In The Boys Room, which is another of the jelly polishes from the collection, it is a grey jelly and this is 1 coat of the Knight and 3 of the polish.

I then added some little stickers that I picked up from ebay in a bulk lot at least 5 years ago or something, so I have no memory of the seller/price etc...sorry.

I then decided to top it with 2 coats of Aliens & Outlaws which has a silver holo base with holo and black glitters running through - but I let the stickers still show.  I have actually worn this one before alone and loved it so happily wore it again to show you all.

As always, CbLs can be purchased from the official site, Harlow and Co and Rainbow Connection.

Oh and I should add here that both of these CbL polishes are on the site at the time of writing this, but this is the last re-stock for both, so if you like them...don't miss out :D

Colors by Llarowe Blue Jeans and Beauty Queens & Alternate Universe (aka my Zelda Nails...)

I have a little post for you today showing off two of the Summer CbL polishes, which when I started doing them I thought it was just random doodles, but when looking at them again I realised my playing of Zelda on my DS seems to have rubbed off on my subconscious....

I started off with a base of 1 coat of the Knight then 3 coats of CbL Blue Jeans and Beauty Queens, this is one of the jellish polishes from the collection but builds up really nicely with a few coats.

I then decided to do some 'random' dotting with CbL Alternate Universe and then drew round them with my Andrea Fulerton Dot and Flick tool in black.

Only when looking at them this way, I realised I had been drawing dots that sort of looked like the islands from my Zelda DS map....

Okay they are not exact or anything, but really reminded me of them, oh well, guess that shows what I have been doing with some of my spare time, ha.

As always, Colors by Llarowe polishes can be purchased from the official site, Harlow and Co and Rainbow Connection.

HJ Manicure - Subzero and Vamp (and an appearance by Colors by Llarowe)

I have for you all a post about a brand that is new to me and I think fairly new in general, HJ Manicure.

HJ Manicure is a nail care range, created by Helen J and based in London.  HJ Manicure is a non-toxic nail care brand.  The polishes are 15ml and come in a core range of 16 colours, with 4 new shades and a Dual Top and Base coat being added to the range for A/W 2014.

At this point there are 4 collections which are:

HOLIDAY - vibrant shades

CLASSIC - 'must have shades' (bright red, deep red and burgundy to coral, baby pink and hot pink)

NUDE - natural/nude shades

HJ SIGNATURE - consisting of Helen’s favourite Autumn/Winter shades and our best selling polishes. Including ‘Subzero’ ‘Midnight Sky’ ‘Vamp’ and ‘Alpine Green’.

I have 2 polishes to show you today, which fall into the HJ Signature collection, Subzero and Vamp.

Each are 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and no topcoat.  Application on both of these polishes was great and I really like the rectangle bottle they come in.

First we have Subzero, which is a grey creme.

Then we have Vamp which is a deep red.

Now I really liked both of these shades, and I feel they would look great at any time of year, but especially this season.

As much as I liked them alone, I can't help but layer when I wear a creme polish.

Firstly here is Subzero again with 1 coat of Colours by Llarowe Opals & Lace

And then Vamp with 1 coat dapped on of Colors by Llarowe I'm Seeing Spots.  This one was kind of a big of a fail as I did not anticipate that the black 'spots' would not be seen very well at all on such a dark base..you can tell I've been away for a while ;)

HJ Manicure polishes can be purchased from the website where you can have a look at these polish and also the rest of the collections and find out a bit more about the polish line.

Colors by Llarowe as always can be purchased from the official site, Harlow and Co and Rainbow Connection.
