Nails Inc Old Compton Street with Nails Inc Camden Crackle

First off, I will take this chance to tell you all I received some new polishes today, Color Club ones, I have seen these on quite a few blogs and was eager to try them for myself so when I came across the Starry Temptress Set on eBay for a very reasonable price I had to snap them up.  I received these polishes today and will try and get them swatched for you over the weekend, as need to get more Tinfoil for this process to make it easier on me with the removal :p

Anyway, back to todays colour, I have for you Nails Inc Old Compton Street, I got this as part of Nails Inc Sorbet Collection, last summer I think.  This also contained Pelham Place, which I have shown you before with a-england Guinevere.  The others in this four piece set were Palace Mews and Stanhope Gardens.  Stanhope seems to have found a new home somewhere along the way but I will try and get Palace Mews swatched for you at some point if you would like?

Here have a few pictures of Old Compton Street alone, I really cannot say enough good things about this blue, it is one of my favourite colour of polishes for sure, and the application is very streak free and opaque in 2 coats.

So here is Old Compton Street with 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the colour and 1 of the Shield.

After a three days of this polish, which lasted chip free through usual daily rigmarole and also a First Aid course, I decided to give it a new lease of life with Nails Inc Camden crackle polish.  I absolutely love the contrast of the black and the blue of this mani.

I apologise for the not so great lighting in the second set of photos, there was a rather big spider in my spare room (where I take all my photos) and I was in a rush to get out of there, but despite that I hope you liked this mani and again, please feel free to leave a comment when you visit as I do love reading them <3 

Nails Inc Serpentine Road

Today I have for you Nails Inc Serpentine Road, I got this polish as part of the Paparazzi Collection on QVC but this colour is also available to buy on its own from Nails Inc.

Serpentine Road is a lovely bright blue, with the added plus that it is also metallic.

You could get away with one coat, but I prefer the depth of colour that two gives you so here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Serpentine Road and 1 of the Shield.

I will try and wear the rest of the Paparazzi collection shortly to show you as they are all pretty colours.

Nails Inc The Hills Collection

This is a collection I have had for a while, got it in about 2009 I think, when some season of The Hills was coming out on DVD.

I must confess at this point, I have never seen The Hills (and never really wanted to) but really liked the look of these colours when they came out so got them anyway.......and I am glad I did, all 4 of these colours are ones I have worn on several occasions (yes, even the pink)

I was a bit torn about whether or not to give each polish its own post but I decided I would keep the collection together and 3 pictures for each isn't too much I hope.

All pictures were taken with 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and no top coat.

First we have Beverly Hills, this is a lovely Raspberry red polish.

Next we have Hollywood which is a very bright neon pink, which the camera just would not pick up (but I found if I tilted my laptop screen ever so slightly, I saw it properly)  This one is the main reason I didn't do a top coat with any of the polishes in this collection, as it dries with a semi matte finish and I wanted to show you the difference.

Then we have Melrose Avenue which is a purpley blue colour.

And lastly we have Rodeo Drive, which is a very dark teal.

I hope you liked my first collection post, and it wasn't too picture heavy.

Nails Inc Brick Lane

I really love this yellow polish, I think it was the first yellows I got, and it wasn't yellow as I was hoping at the time, was a bit more mustard, but I have grown to love it.

For a yellow, and a creme, the application on this one is always really good and I always have been able to get non streaky coverage in two coats

This is 1 coat the Knight, 2 of Brick Lane and 1 of the Shield.
