Nails Inc Heavy Metals Collection

Today I have for you the Nails Inc Heavy Metals Collection, which features 3 colours with a liquid metal finish but are extremely glossy at the same time.

All polishes were super opaque, if I had been careful when doing my first coat, I could have stopped there, but all pictures were taken with 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

First we have Downing Street, which is a metallic blue, and may very well be my favourite of the collection.

Next we have Old Park Lane, which is a metallic antique rose.

And last but certainly not least we have Regent Street, a metallic purple.

This collection can be bought from the official Nails Inc website for £25, it is out of stock at the time of writing this but if you keep an eye on the Nails Inc Facebook page it is normally announced there when a sought out item is available again.

Thank you for looking <3

This collection was sent to me for review.

  1. I love Downing Street! That's no wonder, because I love all blue nail polishes. There are few good metallics out there and these are certainly winners!

  3. I bought these from QVC before I knew the fourth colour in their set wasn't metallic because I thought the Old Park Lane looked like an interesting and unique colour. But then when I got them it was Downing Street that I especially loved and I wasn't sure about Old Park Lane. (I wish it had been Downing Street in the recent TSV and not Old Park Lane because I couldn't resist buying that and I know which colour I'd rather have a spare bottle of ;) )

  4. I thought that was a bit strange of QVC, not just putting in another Metallic, oh well :) I do like Old Park Lane but it is a colour I would not have normally tried had it not been in the set with the other two, but I totally agree that Downing Street is the stand out of this collection. How is the TSV this time anyway Marie? I passed on it...

  5. They did the same thing with the Stunning Shimmer Collection. I happen to really like the non shimmer and non metallic they picked, but it never made sense!!

I really like the TSV. I didn't have Chelsea Embankment so Old Park Lane is my only duplicate. I love the overglaze! Possibly more than the one in the Blair collection (it's not massively different, but it goes more royal blue, whereas the one with the Blair set goes maybe more cyan blue). Arlington Street is very nice. It's similar to Duke of York Place in terms of base colour and shimmer colour, but the shimmer might be smaller or just less shimmery somehow because it looks smother and integrated. I prefer it to Duke of York Place I think... Harrington Road (the green) is very nice and I like the teal blue Heather was wearing with the overglaze and the berry colour is nice as well. The red is.. ok. I like reds and I don't seem to have a Nails Inc that's quite the same shade, but I'm not sure about it.

  6. The only one I really needed from the TSV was the flakie (which I may have bought on ebay :p) the green and purple looked nice but nothing else really jumped at me. I ended up getting the Metallic Pastels instead xx
